The Extremaduran pastures

Montesano is established in Extremadura as it is considered to be the right geographical location for obtaining the best raw material and it has excellent weather conditions for production, since the pasture area where the acorn-fed Iberian pigs graze in Extremadura accounts for 45% of the national surface area and represents almost 60% of the production of acorn-fed Iberian pigs. Moreover, due to the richness of its pastures, the region of Jerez de los Caballeros is known as the cradle of the Iberian pig.
